At Element Multisport, we believe that optimizing a rider's position on the bike is a harmony of balance, power, comfort and biomechanical efficiency. Our goal is to create a comfortable, powerful and sustainable position. This in turn improves speed and efficiency.
We are fortunate to have a Retül 3D bike fitting system. Retül is the world’s most comprehensive dynamic 3D motion capture fit system. Retül is the only system that allows the fitter to measure the rider while pedaling under force. Using eight anatomical LED markers strategically placed on the wrist, elbow, shoulder, hip, knee, ankle and ball of the foot, the Retül sensor gathers information in real time. A cyclist's pedaling mechanics can change significantly when applying variable efforts to the pedals, and the Retül system will pick up these differences and allow the fitter to set your position accordingly.
The Retül system is not a fitting philosophy; it is a powerful
fitting tool. In the hands of a novice it would not produce results. It
relies on the fitter to be educated, experienced, and have an extensive
understanding of cycling and biomechanics. At Element Multisport we have the most experienced Retül fitters in Chicago. Our Retül fits are performed by Retül Certified Fitters only.
